This dataset is automatically synchronized with the LM environmental database on a weekly basis. The location and attributes of each site are maintained within the LM environmental database.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>

All site locations have latitude and longitude coordinates that have been provided for the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management environmental database. The spatial accuracy of the coordinates may be inconsistent as the source data lacked appropriate metadata when received by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management. Coordinates were, as a result, reviewed and approved by site management personnel as representative of the site locations.
All site locations contained within this dataset have been transferred long-term surveillance and maintenance to the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management.

This dataset is a digital version of site information provided in the Site Management Guide and transition documents. Information from the Site Management Guide was entered into the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management (LM) environmental database. Location coordinates provided in transition documents were entered into the LM environmental database. These coordinates were reviewed by site management personnel and evaluated for their spatial accuracy. Where needed, coordinates were manually adjusted and the LM environmental database updated. A scheduled task converts information from the LM environmental database into this spatial dataset. The ID, Directory, SiteCoordSysWkid, and SiteCoordSysWkt are populated by the scheduled task. The scheduled task maintains synchronization between the LM environmental database and this dataset.
