How do I select a site?
You may select a LM Site using either the Site Name or Name Mnemonic filter, or by selecting a row from the attributes table and clicking the “Zoom To” button.
Additional filters have been added to narrow the list of LM Sites down to specific criteria. You may also turn layers on or off using the Layer List widget on the map.

How do I view Environmental Data?
- Once you have selected a site, click on “Sampling Data” on the sidebar.
- Select a report type, sample location(s), dates, and analyte(s). You may select multiple sample locations or analytes.
- Click on the Reports button to view a formatted report.
- Click on the Results button to view the results in a table.
- Click on the Chart button to create a chart of the selected data.

How do I view well logs?
- Select a site. Then click on “Well Logs” on the sidebar.
- Click “Find Logs”. This will find all the sample locations that have well log data and highlight them on the map. Selecting a sample location will also highlight the feature on the map.
- Then click “View Log” to view the log data.

How do I view inspection photos?
- Select a site. Then click on “Inspection Photos” on the sidebar.
- Click on a photo to view a larger image on the photo.

How do I view aerial imagery?
Updated aerial imagery and tools are coming in a future release. However, in this version the aerial imagery is provided as layers listed in the Map Layer List. You may view the imagery for a given year by turning the appropriate layer on or off.
Note: Not all sites have aerial imagery.

In this version of GEMS, site and sample location labels are separate layers that can be turned on or off in the Map Layer List.

You may switch between 2-D and 3-D map views using the “Toggle 2-D/3-D Map” button in the map toolbar.

How do I view site specific data?

Can I see sample locations of nearby sites?
The default behavior for GEMS when you select a site is to only show the sample locations for the selected site to avoid confusion when there are two sites close together. However, there may be a need to also see the sample locations of nearby sites. To do this, go to Settings on the sidebar and check the “Show all samples” check box.
